The Pieces Won’t Fit!
The adventure began when I decided to buy a new truck. I liked my old truck a lot. I had done everything to it that I wanted to make it the way I had wanted it to be. This included installing all kinds of aftermarket accessories. The truck was perfect, and the only reason I wanted to replace it was because I had put too many miles on it in too short a time period. It was time to sell before the value dropped because of the mileage.
So the Saturday before I went to get my new truck which was the same model as my old one, I stripped the old one of its accessories. I took off the bull bars, running boards, hella lights, and as many of the aftermarket accessories that I could. I wasn’t about to buy all new accessories!
When I got the truck home I started putting my accessories on it. I did the bug deflector first, and that went on without any problems. But then the problems began. The running boards didn’t fit. They had changed something about the frame. Next, the bull bars wouldn’t fit. I was screwed! There was now way I could fabricate something to make these things fit either. Guess I should have checked into that first.
