Separating The Men From The Boys
What separates the men from the boys when it comes to having a really cool truck? Is it a big set of swamp tires? How about hood ornaments? Could it be the Mag Hytec drivetrain cover? Well regardless of how you personally answer the question, it will almost certainly boil down to the truck parts and accessories that have been added. After all, there is really only one word for a stock truck: Boring!
Of course bolting on some cool parts or accessories will clearly make a huge impact. But let’s think about this for a minute: What is so different about the trucks that win the trophies at auto shows? Yes, they do have all kinds of bolt on accessories. Many of then will even take it a step further with a piece, or several pieces that are custom fabricated. But there is something else too. Are you thinking of it yet?
That is correct! They all have fancy custom paint jobs. I’m a flames kind of guy myself. Nothing screams “look at me” better that contrasting flames with multiple colors burning down the side of a truck. Of course flames are not the only thing you see a lot of. Skulls are very popular too. The bottom line is simple though. The more you do to your truck, the more looks you will get.
